During the month of December the staff of URMP received 56.5 hours of training in various subject matters; Catholic Identity, OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens, Human Trafficking, Trauma of Refugee Minors, Abuse and Neglect of Children, HIPPA Compliance, Strength-Based Assessment and Planning, In-Care Reports, and Abuse and Neglect of Elderly.

Staff continues to recruit foster parents and mentors for the kids. In addition to the article written about URMP in La Voz C athoica, the Program specialist has been interviewed on radio Paz and has provided information to the following parishes; St. John the Apostle, St. Agatha, and St. Boniface.

Finally, if you know of a family who would be willing to open their homes as foster parents to a refugee minor, please refer them to us.
