Make a Difference - Become a Fosterparent

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program (URMP) assists Refugees, Asylees, Cuban/Haitian Entrants, SIJ’s, Children in U non-immigrant status and trafficked minors who enter the United States without a parent or guardian. The program places children in licensed Foster Care homes and offers supportive Case Management services that address the legal, educational, medical and psychological needs of the minors in care. The primary goal of the program is family reunification.

The program also offers Extended Foster Care, Postsecondary Education Services and Support and After Care Services for qualifying youth.

Referrals to the program are made from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

We are looking for Foster Parent

We are looking for families and individuals who would like to become foster parents. These individuals would mentor and assist resettle the refugee minor with dignity, love and compassion

Our Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program will train you and guide you through the process of becoming a foster parent.
