If you or someone you know is living with HIV/AIDS, Catholic Charities of the

Archdiocese of Miami, Inc. can help!  Our specially trained volunteer care

teams are available to provide emotional and spiritual support through

friendly visitation, telephone reassurance, and social gatherings.  Your

privacy is very important to us.  All volunteers and staff sign confidentiality

agreements prior to working with the Volunteer Friendship Ministry.

Volunteer Opportunities

 

We need compassionate, dependable people who to volunteer serving people who are HIV+ and terminally ill. Our volunteers:

 

  • Assist with social activities

  • Conduct home visits

  • Mentor people living with HIV

how you can begin! The Volunteer Friendship Ministry requests that volunteers attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each

month in our Wilton Manors Office. Good listening skills, own transportation, and a flexible schedule is desirable.

We provide services for adults19 years of age and older who are HIV+ and live within the boundaries of Broward County.
