Providence Place

Catholic Charities’ Providence Place in Broward provides transitional housing for families with children under the age of 18. Our experienced case managers help families return to self-sufficiency and access permanent housing.

Staff members assist families in developing personalized transition plans based on their specific needs. Built-in accountability targets keep participants on track. All plans work to ensure that the root causes of homelessness are addressed through:

  • Vocational training

  • Life Skills training (parenting, financial literacy, anger management)

  • Job search & employability skills (resumes, interview techniques)

  • Mentoring Services

  • Transportation access

  • Comprehensive Case Management services

  • Mental health services

  • Emergency financial assistance (rent, utilities, clothing, and food vouchers)

  • Rent subsidies
