Elderly Services

When a senior you love is feeling lonely, needs a place to socialize with their peers, or needs some help to continue living independently in their home, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc. can help you select the best care options to maximize your loved one’s physical, psychological, and social health. Whether they want to play a game of bingo or dominoes, need the opportunity to eat a nutritious meal without having to prepare it, or simply a place to socialize with peers, we can help!

Congregate Meals

Congregate meal programs are a great way to help seniors: promote independence, maintain good nutrition, reduce loneliness, make new friends, and increase self-esteem. Catholic Charities’ Senior Centers in Miami-Dade County provide nutritious hot meals daily for eligible seniors who live independently in their homes. Golden agers who dine with us enjoy getting out of their homes, socializing, and participating in fun activities.

Home delivered meals are available for people who, because of illness or infirmity, are confined

to their homes.
