Catholic Charities continues to accept donations for reconstruction efforts in Haiti. The work of reconstruction will take decades.
Donate today to make a real difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Centro Hispano Catolico invites you to participate in the work of Centro Hispano, founded in 1959 by Miami's Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll. For more than 50 years, we have raised funds for program operations and development. We are
currently engaged in a fundraising campaign to cover the cost of constructing a new building known as the Monsignor Bryan O. Walsh
Child Care Center.
The Center, located at 125 N.W. 25 Street in Miami, provides services to 260 children daily. It nourishes both mind and body by providing education, socialization, school readiness and other developmental services, and serving breakfast, lunch and snacks. Sometimes these are the only nutritious meals the children receive. After school care is provided for children under 12.
The new building was completed with the help of the Archdiocese of Miami at a cost of $2.2 million. Donations from businesses and individuals have paid for half of the construction costs. We need your help to retire the outstanding building debt. Every donation is appreciated, whether it is $10, $100, $1,000, $100,000 or more. Download donation form.
We invite you to visit the Center, which is open all year, from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are living in difficult times, but
these difficulties make the work of the Center more important than ever.
Please make a donation to ensure the Msgr. Bryan O. Walsh Childcare Center can continue to provide bright futures for hundreds of children. Every donation of $100 or more will be recognized by the addition of a leaf to the Donor’s Tree that adorns the lobby of the
Center. The leaf can bear an inscription of your name or that of a loved one in whose memory you are making the donation. Please be generous to the children and celebrate the memory of Msgr. Walsh.
